ESTES PARK, COLORADO
Join us this summer to experience the wonderful and amazing fly fishing opportunities that the Rocky Mountain west has to offer from a home base in Estes Park, Colorado!

We will be fly fishing for the native Greenback Cutthroat Trout, Colorado Cutthroat Trout, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout on the many beautiful rivers and streams in the greater Rocky Mountain National Park area.
You will have the opportunity to fly fish on the Big Thompson River which has a fantastic meadow section and great hatches with Elk wandering about, the Fall River with the amazingly beautiful Roaring River's “Alluvial Fan" above, the St. Vrain River where famed author John Gierach fishes on occasion, the headwaters of the Colorado River that runs through a alpine marsh and has Moose and Elk walking about and a few alpine lakes that hold some Native Greenback Cutthroat Trout as well.
There is a possibility of seeing Elk, Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Antelope, Bald Eagles, Swans, Herons and a number of other critters throughout the week.
Estes Park itself is a wonderful tourist town catering to interests including the outdoors, arts, music, culinary offerings and more!

Lodging info:
A beautiful home with five bedrooms, three and a half baths, a fireplace and conveniently located close to downtown Estes Park, and most everything that Estes Park has to offer. There is a hiking trail not far from the home and the large backyard has a spacious outdoor deck that is a wonderful place to relax and take in the views of the Fall River which runs near the property while sharing the days fish stories with snacks and refreshments before dinner.

Food and Beverage info:
A personal gourmet chef will take care of all the food preparation and service for the week. Culinary offerings may include Grilled Porterhouse Steak, Stuffed Spinach and Cheese Manicotti, Grilled Veggie Kabobs, Grilled Glazed Salmon, Baked French Toast Casserole, Death by Chocolate cake, Blackberry Cobbler and many other delights! If you require a special diet (ex: Gluten free) or know of foods that you are allergic to or simply don’t like the chef will be glad to accommodate. You certainly will enjoy a fine meal before and after a great day on the water!

Guided Fly Fishing Trip info:
The trip includes two full day guided wade trips with Kirk's Fly Shop and Guide Service. Enjoy wade trips in or outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. So many miles of river to explore! Their guides are fantastic and they have been an Estes Park favorite for the past 15 years.
