MISSOULA, MONTANA
Join us this summer to experience the wonderful and amazing fly fishing opportunities that the Rocky Mountain west has to offer from a home base in Missoula, Montana!
We will be fly fishing for West Slope Cutthroat Trout, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and possibly a rare Bull Trout on the many beautiful rivers and streams in the "Land of Five Valleys".
You will have the opportunity to fly fish on the Big Blackfoot River of “A River Runs Through It” fame, the Bitterroot River with the amazingly beautiful “Bitterroot Wall” mountain range to the west, Lolo Creek where Lewis and Clark explored more than 200 years ago, the amazing hatches on Rock Creek and a few alpine lakes in the Bitterroot National Forest along with the Clark Fork River that runs right through Missoula as well.
There is a possibility of seeing Elk, Moose, Bison, Bighorn Sheep, Antelope, Bald Eagles, Pelicans, Swans, Herons and a number of other critters throughout the week.
Missoula itself is a melting pot of interests including the outdoors, arts, music, culinary offerings and more!

Lodging - 6 nights in a beautiful vacation rental home just minutes from downtown Missoula with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths.
All meals - prepared by a gourmet personal chef.
2 full day guided fly fishing float trips (with a 3rd day option) with Grizzly Hackle fly shop, 3 days of fishing with us (not a guided trip) or on your own.
Lodging info:
A beautiful home with four bedrooms, four baths, a gas fireplace and conveniently located close to Missoula and most everything Missoula has to offer. The beautiful patio in the large backyard is a wonderful place to relax and take in the views of Mount Sentinel and the Sapphire Mountains while sharing the days fish stories with snacks and refreshments before dinner.
Food and Beverage info:
A personal gourmet chef will take care of all the food preparation and service for the week. Culinary offerings may include Grilled Tenderloin Steak, Grilled Veggie Kabobs, Huckleberry Pancakes & Huckleberry Preserves, Stuffed Pork Chops with Pecan Stuffing, Baked French Toast Casserole, and Grilled Glazed Salmon and Shrimp with Linguini and Asparagus with many other delights! If you require a special diet (ex: Gluten free) or know of foods that you are allergic to or simply don’t like the chef will be glad to accommodate. You certainly will enjoy a fine meal before and after a great day on the water!
Guided Fly Fishing Trip info:
The trip includes two full day guided float trips with Grizzly Hackle Fly Shop and Guide Service. Enjoy floating on either the Bitterroot River, the Big Blackfoot River or the Clark Fork River. So many miles of river to explore! Their guides are fantastic and they have been a Missoula favorite for the past 30 years.
